I was able to email back and forth with Professor Anderson, and she was able to really help me identify where I want to take my grad journey. She was extremely helpful and I'm excited to change and tweak a few things for my research proposal.
Below is the email sent to Professor Anderson and the changes for my proposal.
Your words are exactly what I needed. Last night, I brainstormed about my blog/site and I absoultely KNOW that is the route I want to take for this year. I "brain dumped" possible venues and passions I want to take with my blog/site:
Eventually I want my blog/site to have:
Like you mentioned (the mom segment)
Lesson Plans
Autism Movement Therapy Curriculum and Lesson Plans
Work-books
Case Studies
A possible E-book
Video Tutorials of myself teaching in class settings or Video Training
Dance Therapy Resource Library
Challenges- Like a 30 day Dance 4 Therapy Challenge
All these things will take years and years to accomplish, but I see the blog/site as my career/teaching artistry, and not just a basic blog. My heart is to bring my viewers education, expertise, and hope!
Your words confirmed this is the direction I want to go, and you were able to realllllly lay out a path for possible fieldwork options.
I am soooo over the top thankful for you time and thoughts!
I even thought about some research ideas... and just throwing ideas out there that could pertain to the blog/site...
-What, if any, are the benefits of launching a blog that focuses on dance education and therapeutic interventions for those who have a mental illness/special need?
Something on the lines of that.....? Still have no clue bout that. But, just thoughts.
